I was assigned by Orange Magazine to get a portrait of Jim DeFelice of Warwick and author of American Sniper and his new book West Like Lightning. I showed up at his house aiming to get one good portrait. We setup on his couch and after a test shots I had the portrait I was looking for in about 10 seconds. I used a single strobe in a small softbox to highlight Jim on the couch along with his new book on the table.
