Dramatic wedding at the Stone Church in Cragsmoor

I photographed Jane and Waylin’s wedding at the Stone Church in Cragsmoor last week. The weather worked out great. The day started with rain and let up an hour or so before the ceremony. But the clouds and fog remained. Which made for a very moody feel at a church like that. And for the portraits we had a big dark storm cloud move in behind the scene during shooting which made for a very dramatic look. Jane and Waylin were so easy to photograph as so many of the photos capture those moments between them. The reception was down the mountain at Third and Company Lakeside Restaurant in Walker Valley. I had been by there hundreds of times over the years but the new owner really made this place amazing inside. These are some of my favorites from that day.
