Back in May I traveled up to Shokan to shoot portraits for a member of the Catskill Mountain Rail Road. Ryan Lennox is a highly dedicated volunteer for the rail road who spends hours each week clearing the rail line of brush. Ryan took his speeder out along the rails along the Ashokan Reservoir where we shot portraits on the rail line and stopped at what’s known as the Chinese Wall. It was quite a ride along the rail that hasn’t been used since 1976. The volunteers at the rail road are working hard to bring it back to life and create a regular connection between Phoenicia and Kingston. Good luck guys…I truly hope it is created.
