Last month I posted up some low light test portraits for a magazine shoot I was planning.
The portrait just published in the current edition of Orange Magazine. The portrait was of Francesca LoPiccolo, a high school student and cancer survivor who had her leg amputated.
For this shot the editor ask for “something different” for a studio portrait. I wanted to focus the light on her face instead of her leg, but still how the leg. By toning down the light on everything besides her face I think I got the result I was going for. I also shot a video interview to be released in a few weeks with Francesca. Check back in a few weeks for the video. Below you can see some images from the video shoot.
