These were shot for a story about a quadraplegic woman from New Hampton who has sued five local businesses in federal court claiming they violated the Americans with Disabilities Act, employing a controversial lawyer who has filed hundreds of ADA lawsuits on behalf of a small group of plaintiffs over the past decade. One of those businesses is Tony Boffa’s Restaurant in Middletown.
I ran over on Friday afternoon for a quick 5 minute shoot for a few news portraits inside and out of the owner and her daughter. I used bounce flash on camera for the inside shot and a single bare strobe on a lightstand for the outside shot. Pretty fast and simple.
