Kingston Mayor at Keegan Ales

Back in November I traveled up to Kingston for a Drink With portrait for Ulster Magazine. This was with Kingston’s new mayor Steve Noble at Keegan Ales. This was a great bar. There was a huge sign on the wall that I knew right away that I wanted to include. It was in the dark though. So before he got there I setup a tightly gridded strobe that lit up the sign on the wall. Once Steve got there I moved a few people off the bar and setup a small softbox. After a few shots we had the image. For the drink shot I used some of the Christmas lights in the background and one small softbox for the drink.
