Was participating in a photo contest that limited me to 2 lights and needed a notable local person….not my best work. Setup shot below:

This is John DeSanto. Photo Editor for the Times Herald-Record in Middletown NY. He is the man in charge of what photos the residents of the Hudson Valley region of upstate NY see on a regular basis. Photographically he has more impact and influence on the community than anyone else. He has been a photojournalist for over 40 years.

Information:

Light 1: Nikon SB25 at full power through a beauty dish up high camera left.

Light 2: NIkon SB25 camera right at 1/16 power in white bounce umbrella. This is used for fill.
